Our Story
leela (n.): divine play
We're Vasanthi and Sanjana, an Indian-American mother-daughter duo. Several years ago, we began a journey of rediscovering and re-immersing in the wisdom of our heritage. It was like fireworks. Truths clicking in our brains. We wondered: How can we share with those around us the insights that have awed us so far in our study of these ancient sciences? What we learned about yoga, healing, and Ayurveda changed our lives; could it change others' lives, too?
And so, in 2019 Leela was born. Since then, we continue to cherish every opportunity to work with people just like you.
Vasanthi
Vasanthi has been in the Corporate world for over 30 years, with more than 10 years in the C-suite co-creating business strategy, helping transform digital and customer experience, leading and coaching multi-cultural teams and facilitating business and leadership growth. She spent 22 years at GE including as Chief Information Officer for GE Capital Bank, led Operations globally for S&P Ratings, and was most recently SVP & CIO of Alliant Credit Union. She is a certified yoga instructor, having graduated from Indea Yoga under Yogacharya Bharath Shetty. She is also a trained Theta healer.
Sanjana
Sanjana is a storyteller and filmmaker passionate about environmental justice and regenerative thinking. She is currently completing her Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor training through Kerala Ayurveda Academy.
